May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that
you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13

Good afternoon Crosstown Family;

What a great blessing it is to be a child of God during this coronavirus pandemic. With so much insecurity among so many, we are assured by the Holy Spirit that we are God’s children. Take a moment to read Romans 8:16-17. It will be encouraging to you!

I’m writing this email to you for a number of reasons.

First, how are you doing during this time? While I am not able to be in contact with each individual Crosstown person, I can say that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Every day I speak your name before the Throne of God like the Apostle Paul did for the people of Ephesus. Please know that you are loved!

Second, if you have a prayer need, please let us know. We have been working tirelessly this week to renew our website which has a feature that will allow you to submit a prayer request.

Third, this Sunday we’ll be offering a live streaming worship service at 10:00 a.m. By using your computer, tablet, or phone you can access the worship service by clicking on the following link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXIQXE7bL42ujTR5lnSodow  If the live stream does not show up, refresh until it does. You can also access the link through CrosstownTO.com

Fourth, please touch base with your Read, Talk, Pray Small Group. Now, more than ever, let’s stay in contact with one another.

Lastly, God is in control!  All of us will make it through this storm in Jesus’ boat. As I close this letter, let me speak the words of Psalm 139:9-12 over us: Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.

God is with you and me!  I love you and thank God for you!
